Forever: A Slenderman Love Story prolouge

"Dammit! will you get over here!?" Slender's voice echoing harshly through the woods. "NO! How could you do it!?" "THIS ISN'T MY FAULT ANNIE!" "Don't you call me that! Don't you dare call me that!" Annabelle screamed. "You stole me. you stole me from everything i loved and cared about, you stole me!" Slender's body heated up, and he burst, "THEY SOLD YOU TO ME!!" Annabelle's angry face turned into a blank stare. "What?" Slenderman sighed. "Your village, they made a sacrifice to me. Annabelle, you're part Slender. They fear you. They got rid of you. If you go back now, They will kill you."


"I don't believe you!" She turned away from him. Her long, blue dress, now covered with dirt, flowed as she turned. "Annabelle, stop!" She walked away, ignoring Slender. "Annabelle, i love you." She stopped. Her back still turned. "I'm going back."

Slender felt a jabbing pain course through his body. His love was not returned. The curse he had been put under had been fulfilled once again, for the 300th year. He would remain like he was for another hundred years. As he held his slowing heart, that had started to turn human, He did not see Annabelle walk away to the nearing village.

He suddenly heard a scream. His head shot up fast and he was immediately on his feet. "Annabelle!!!" He  teleported through the trees until he was in the middle of the village. Annabelle lay there, dead, in her slender form. She hadn't purposely turned, it just had happened. Her gray like skin was slowly changing back to milky white and her features were returning. Blood started to seep through her filthy yet still beautiful dress. Her mother was holding onto the wall while being puled back into the church, which ironically was a prison for those who sinned, was screaming and sobbing.

Tear's fell from Slender's absent eyes. His sharp teeth gritted together. "Which one of you did it." He hissed. Silence fell instantly. "WHICH ONE OF YOU BASTARDS DID IT!?" His tentacles merged from his back, his usually long white fingers stretched out becoming sharp, sharp claws. He took a step forward, a single tear traveling down his white face. "The devil bitch got what she deserved!" A man yelled, while holding a bloody pitch fork. Slender's head snapped. He grabbed the man by the neck and squeezed.

Screams rose from the woods that night as men, women, and children were slaughtered unmercifully that night. All expect one. Annabelle's mother was cowering in a cell as Slenderman approached her. "Kill me," She sobbed. "I deserve nothing less..." He put a hefty bag of gold down at her feet. "Go. There's a carriage and a horse outside. Get your things and leave. There's nothing left for you here." She looked up at him, confused. "I sent my own child into the forest to die... how can you not kill me?" Slender knelt down, and gently put his hand on the side of her face and concentrated. Images flew past of her daughter Annabelle and The Slender Being falling in love. From the first day to the last few moments.

She began to cry. "I'm sorry..." Slender got up, and turned. "You'll be the beginning of a new one." And he vanished into thin air. Her daughters body was nowhere insight when she left, but as she exited the bloody gate of her former village she heard a scream of crying anguish and loud sobs throughout the night. Tears fell from her cheeks also for not only her loss, but the pain in Slender's heart.

On June 15th 1589 Roanoke Colony was completely slaughtered, and only two people know what happened. And only one knew what lurked there in the woods around. People who snoop there trying to figure out the odd cries at night are often never heard from again. Slenderman became bitter, hating all human kind and swearing off love forever, hating it. Thus strengthening his curse. Until one night, his memories will flood back, and love will be challenged as he meet the eyes of the only one he has ever truly loved again.
